This is the final stretch, this version is feature-closed and should be stable. Barring any bug-reports this version
may end up being 4.00 final.

Announcing Zoom Player v4.00 Release Candidate 2
Release Candidate 1 had several issues which required a quick fix. Release Candidate 2 adds several important fixes
and if you were using RC1, it is highly recommended you upgrade.
If you were previously using Release Candidate 1 for DVD Playback, Open the Advanced Options dialog, go to the
DVD Setup dialog and double check that the Audio/Video Decoders and the DVD Navigator are selected.

Announcing Zoom Player v4.00 Release Candidate 1
Lots of changes, fixes and new features introduced in this release candidate. This is also the first release to
introduce Zoom Player WMV Professional which is a new
separate version of Zoom Player allowing for DRM encoded Windows Media file playback.
An upgrade path between Zoom Player Professional and the new Zoom Player WMV Professional versions is available.

Might be a slight delay of Zoom Player 4.00 RC1 as we're working on getting a TCP/IP control interface implemented
for this release which would allow you a better method of controlling Zoom Player remotely, even from a different
machine across a local network or the internet.
In other news, there's a new beta version of AC3 Filter which includes an AC3 encoder, DTS/LPCM decoding and a few
other interesting features. You can check it out on the
Doom9 Forum.

XVID
v1.00 final has been released. If you only want the XVID decoder, you can grab it here.
Zoom Player 4.00 release candidate 1 should be released some time this week, stay tuned.

The Zoom Player FAQ has been refreshed. A few more questions answered and
some of the questions have been updated to reflect changes in the program and in the technology.

Zoom Player v4.00 release candidate 1 is nearing and should introduce Windows Media DRM playback support as a new version
dubbed "Zoom Player WMV Professional". In the meanwhile, an article explaining how to configure Girder to be used as a
Remote Control software with Zoom Player has been written here.

The Media Setup Guide has been consolidated, expanded and
integrated into the Zoom Player format support index. You should
find downloading components is now much easier.
