Hopefully everyone is having fun getting ready for the new year. Myself, I'm releasing a new Zoom Player beta which
I hope everyone will enjoy. Another toy to spend some time on.
With new years dawning, I'll be releasing Beta 4 of Zoom Player v3.00. Beta 4 will have even more features, fixes
and interfaces I'm sure everyone will enjoy (or not). Stay tuned.
December 21th, 2002.
Few more fixes to beta 3 dealing with the "Scene Cut:End" command and Multiple Audio track AVI files. There's
also support for switching Audio output on MPEG1 files.
Download beta 3.2 here.

There was a small bug involving the loading of certain skins, so if that's giving you a problem, download
beta 3.1 here.

Yes, not a lot of updates, I'm so busy with Zoom Player and real life that I just don't have the time
I want to spend updating other sections of the site. I requested if anyone wants to become a reviewer
for the site a while back. A few people answered but after an eMail or two they just vanishes, so I don't
know what do with that regard. If anyone is still interested, drop me a line.
And now for some more interesting news, I've just released beta 3 of Zoom Player 3.0. Lots of changes
as usual, a few fixes and lots of requested features. Hopefully everyone will be pleased.
So go ahead and check out the goods on the new version at the
forum.

Yay, another beta!
Hopefully the media library is stable, the categories are in.
Also some fixes, the resolution change on fullscreen feature and some other goodies.
Progressing toward Zoom Player 3.00, I'm releasing the
first beta.
There are quite a few new feautres and several bug fixes, but this is just the beginning.
November 18th, 2002.
Nope, still here, working away on v3.00 while my looming 28th birthday (Nov. 20th) is slowly creeping in.
In the meanwhile, per-request, I've written a detailed tutorial on setting up your system for Media Playback.
It covers pretty much everything from DIVX, XVID, OGM, MPEG-2 (SVCD) and AC3 to the Merit System. Make sure you read it.

Announcing Zoom Player v2.90
It's finally ready! Exactly two months after version 2.80 has been released, version 2.90 is now out the door.
The list of changes is huge as usual, so you would have to check the
Change Log
but if you want to get directly to it, go to the Download page.

Argh, even though I said there would be no new features in 2.90 until final release, some snuck in, even rather big ones
like the new Registered Filter Editor. I guess I let my guard down or something.
Besides the new features, bug fixes and the rest of the hoopla, I've redrawn the default skin, both for
Media and
DVD modes.
